About Builder Engagement
Builder Engagement Team mission is to enable relationships and technical integrations with Consensys most strategic Builders, Customers and Partners to maximize the reach of our products and services.
Our goal is to enable them to use and get the best out of our products suite MetaMask and Linea, ensuring long-term engagement, and increased usage.

As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Acting as the primary interface for top partner accounts, alongside our Product teams and our Business Development team.
    Ensuring successful product adoption and retention among high-impact partners.
  • Leading and delivering resilient and durable integrations with Builders and Partners across the ecosystem.

What you’ll do

As an Enablement Technical Lead you will join a world class technical team, with State of the Art expertise in implementing and maintaining resilient web3 integrations, developing & delivering advanced decentralized applications (Ðapps) and a strong knowledge of the Consensys product suite. You will be working closely with the ecosystem Builders who want to use or get integrated into Consensys products and you will engage with them to ensure that they get the most out of their integrations.

You’ll be defining your team technical approach on one or multiple projects, being responsible for the technical deliverables of your team under the guidance of a Solution Architect.

Most of our team members are known for their expertise on at least one Consensys product and have one area of “deep” expertise (most often Back-end development in Node.js / Typescript, Mobile development experience: Typescript and React-Native and React.js, or Solidity development), as well as some generalist knowledge, and a willingness to learn more, in other areas.

Enabling Builders to use our products can also mean building alongside them. You’ll get engaged in small technical Agile teams to deliver the missing pieces that will enhance their development experience, enable their integrations and encourage them to advocate for our products.

As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to contribute in enforcing best practices and training/coaching the team. Over time, you'll become a trusted expert on one or more Consensys products, contributing to bring value for ConsenSys teams globally.

 

Job requirements

Who we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 2+ years as a tech lead, leading a team of Senior Software Engineers
  • Mastery of one of the following disciplines:
    • Back-end development: Typescript / Node.js (preference for Nest.js framework)
    • Mobile development experience: Typescript and React-Native and React.js
  • Experience and/or willingness to learn about the other disciplines listed above
  • Strong knowledge of the Blockchain technology and Ethereum ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience in Web3 application development
  • Experience in software development project that went live or already in production
  • High testing standards for yourself and for others: expectation of rigorous unit testing, integration testing and component testing where appropriate
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices
  • Experience working on agile software development projects
  • Experience working in a client facing environment, engaging with customers at a technical and non-technical level

Bonus points:

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject
  • General interest in QA / knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices
  • Experience in deploying blockchain infrastructure
  • Skills in Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Wagmi/Viem or Ethers.js library
  • Knowledge or Experience of Trading platforms and Banking/Investment industry
  • User or keen interest in Consensys products (MetaMask and Linea)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
  • General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills.
