Consensys’ Letter to the Future U.S. President on Crypto Regulation

We wrote a letter to the future president of the United States, advocating for clear regulation that empowers - not punishes - web3 builders.

Since announcing our lawsuit with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier this year, Consensys has been fighting for every web3 builders’ right to innovate. Whether you’re based in the U.S. or beyond; smart, clear, and empowering regulation for web3, blockchains, and cryptocurrencies is long overdue. 

Through our ongoing lawsuit, we seek to finally put an end to the lack of clear rules and SEC overreach stifling digital innovation in our sector almost daily. Not only are we calling on policymakers to take action, but American voters as well.

And today, we’ve taken our efforts a step further by addressing our future leaders directly in a letter to the future U.S. president, published in the Wall Street Journal.
